My family and I had an amazing time at Marlin Bay Marina. The property was quiet, very well maintained, spacious, and luxurious. It's a real treasure in the keys considering the enormous pool size and amenities for just a dozen or so rental homes. It appears the pool and common areas were designed to accommodate a much larger building project of 100 or so rental homes, but for whatever reason, construction seems to have ceased after phase 1. So for a few rental homes, Marlin Bay's undeveloped property serves up quite an incredible deal with its large marina, pool, club house and other common areas that were initially designed to accommodate hundreds of guests. Overall, it's a luxuriously expansive property that provides a quiet, secluded, and well appointed retreat right in the middle of Marathon Key.

Being from Washington State and heading to Florida, Marlin Bay was nothing more than their ads. The virtual tour they provided was extremely accurate. However, they did not suggest the great ambience of the place. The place is fantastic! Every thing was superb: the pool, hot tub, pool side bar, kayaks etc. The house makes us want to return. BTW we had a family of 6 with 2 others for NYE. FANTASTIC.

We stayed with 6 of us, including 3 kids under 10 for a week. The locations was great (lots of restaurants within 5-10 mins), the grounds and house was well maintained and the pool was the perfect temperature! Only ding is that this was a resort that seemed designed for grandparent, parents and kids, but they don't allow pool toys in the pool.

Marlin Bay is a great place to get away. Condos are clean and come with a small (additional) freezer in the garage for bait and all the fish you catch or extra bags of ice for early morning fishing departures. Staff is very good. Local restaurants are very good and will cook your fish that you catch. The only complaint would be that you must book 7 days. 5 days would be more reasonable especially when traveling by boat as you would have a day of travel and a day of departure making for a very long vacation for some people.

We absolutely loved our house and the whole Marlin Bay property. We have never seen the attention to detail that you see here. Immaculate grounds, constantly maintained, incredible staff, and even things that make you realized just how detail oriented they are, like the kitchen utensils perfectly aligned and spaced in the drawers. The bar by the pool was amazing and Scot was the absolute best. The concierge crew went above and beyond with everything. Really one of the best properties we have ever visited.

Our family which included myself, husband, 2 adult kids and their partner and my friend traveled to the Keys for the 4th of July holiday. The residence was everything we wanted and more. There was plenty of room for all of us and it included all items we needed for cooking at home. We were surprised at how nice the residence was. Not all facilities were open due to COVID, but the staff at pool and resort were so friendly. We are planning a trip back once COVID passes.

The only problem with this place is it so comfortable that it makes you not want to leave the grounds. And that would be a mistake. Lots of laid back Keys attractions and restaurants to explore. You don't even need to get in your car. We had 3 couples in our unit and never felt crowded. Only wish all three bedrooms had king size beds. We would come back!

Just returned from Marlin Bay in Marathon key in Florida. I was apprehensive when I booked with my four children 21-25 years in age and all opinionated. We arrived late in the evening and followed the instructions to locate the keys. Once inside after the initial mad rush to get the best bedroom we all realised that every room was great. Spotless and beautifully furnished. Everyone was delighted. Next morning met Barbra who was so sweet and welcoming.Anything and everything we needed to know she managed to advise on. Boat rentals, great restaurants , things to do etc. The resort was amazing and the pool and pool area was spacious and clean. Perfect infact. All in all we are ready to return again as our trip was a great success. Worth every $. Would definitely recommend to any families or couples who want the Florida keys experience.
